This account of the Fannin Family was read by Dr. Charles Bunyan Smith at the Pike County Historical Society meeting in October 1967.  It starts with the family's coming from Ireland to American, Connecticut to South Carolina and finally to southeast Alabama, the later to Texas.  It names many of those living in Pike and surrounding counties.  Published April 1968.
